In the Indian city of Ramgarh Cantonment, doctors were treating a very special medical case: a 21-day-old baby whose stomach was unusually bulging. Due to the swelling, they initially assumed it was a tumor. But a CT scan revealed a completely different reason: The little patient was carrying eight fetuses in her abdomen.

The girl was also diagnosed with fetus-in-fetu syndrome (FIF) Fetal Inclusion I call. This is a very rare developmental disorder that can occur in multiple pregnancies (see box). they are all over the world less than 200 of these cases are known. According to the Indian medical team, the fact of having to extract eight fetuses from a human being is the first case in a child patient.
