What party! 13,000 mostly young fans cheered on their idols at Zurich’s Hallenstadion on Friday. Big national hits like Stefanie Heinzmann (33), Kings Elliot (27) and Loco Escrito (32), as well as international bands like Lukas Graham and Sportfreunde Stiller, created a great atmosphere at Energy Star Night 2022. “This event is great for discover what awaits the young,” says advertiser Dominique von Matt (62), who was one of the older guests.
This time only as spectators were Chris Filter (35) and Philipp Morscher (42) from the Hecht group. “We’ve performed at this event multiple times,” says Filter, “every time it’s been an amazing experience.” Morscher remembers being on the power stage in the backup band for superstar Rita Ora (31) ten years ago. “Back then it was not as well known as it is today, the performance will remain unforgettable for me.”
Snowboarding idol Fabien Rohrer (47) traveled from the Bernese Oberland to enjoy the four-hour live show complete with lots of confetti and fireworks. “I didn’t want to miss this party,” he says, “I heard a lot of good things about it beforehand.” It was also a first for Naomi Lareine (28). “It was overwhelming to perform in front of so many people,” says the hit singer from Zurich. “For me, a big dream has come true.”
